In the morning we got a delicious breakfast to go and we went to the airport early. I started tearing up in the airport realizing that I would no longer be surrounded by Filipinos.
When we got on the plane, I was bawling my eyes out!! I was so sad to leave! Peri wrote me a beautiful letter to read as we were taking off. For the rest of the trip home, I went back and forth between happiness and sadness. We had a layover in Tokyo.
I know that it was time to move on. And of course I was happy to be reunited with my family again.
